There are creative directors in it for personal glory.  

Me? I get off on collective success.

Because creative director means influencing the creative and the creatives.

Too often that last part gets lost.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to produce subpar work.

I’m here to make sure no one gets bruised in the process.

Advertising isn’t a 9-5. We work nights, weekends, we see ideas we love die and concepts we don’t love sell every day. A shitty boss doesn’t make it any easier.

So I’m ending generational creative trauma one mentee at a time.

You might be wrong—but I’ll tell you why and how to make it better.

No one yes-and’s like I yes-and.

Bold? Maybe. But bold is what gets ahead. I’m just bold in a different way.

A fight for my people way. A roll up my sleeves and write a static banner to free up my team for something else way. A client feedback is just an opportunity to think even more creatively way. 

Advertising has enough egos.
